EDUCASE 2013 Annual Conference

The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference program is derived from member-driven content organized across six overarching IT domains and 18 subject themes. Participants can take part in person in Anaheim, California or virtually from anywhere. Attend as an individual, or gather a team together and make it a comprehensive experience. Both the on-site and virtual conference activities run from 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, to 11:15 a.m. Friday, October 18. Preconference seminars are offered on Tuesday, October 15, for additional fees.

Preconference Seminars

These intensive, in-depth, and highly interactive seminars provide attendees with a chance to explore key issues, tools, and subjects in great detail for both face-to-face and virtual participants. (Please note: A separate registration and fee are required.). Webcast Sessions will be designated by an icon in the daily agendas, will be streamed live for virtual conference participants, and a professional recording will be made available for face-to-face attendees after the event. The CIO Experience provides on-site intensive networking opportunities, a clearly defined program tailored to higher education IT leadership, and the ability to convene, reflect, and strategize with other CIOs. The CIO experience includes the CIO lounge, opportunities to facilitate discussions in peer group meetings, and the Hawkins Leadership Roundtable for new and aspiring CIOs. Innovative solution providers and additional corporate engagement opportunities exist in Anaheim to learn about products and services for your institution. Posters provide an opportunity to share campus experiences through informal, interactive, brief presentations. All on-site poster presenters have been invited to recast their posters for online delivery to the Digital Poster Gallery. Participate virtually, share the experience, and explore each topic of interest.
